BANICHKI WITH SPINACH

PRODUCTS

1. Phyllo pastry leaves (tissue-thin sheets of dough) - 1 package of 500 grams
2. Spinach - 500 grams
3. Eggs - 4 eggs
4. White cow’s cheese - 400 grams
5. Cow butter - 150 grams
6. Sunflower oil - 2 tablespoons

METHOD OF PREPARATION

The washed and chopped spinach is steamed for 5 minutes in the oil. Break the eggs and add thereto the crumbled cheese and steamed spinach. The phyllo pastry leaves are to be cut into two longitudinally, then each half is spread with the melted cow's butter and folded in two again longitudinally. A full spoon of the stuffing is spread over it and then folded so as to form a triangular banichka. Banichkas thus prepared are to be arranged in a greased baking tray and baked in a preheated to 180°C oven for 30 minutes.
