OVEREATING AND WEIGHT GAIN

On the mechanisms of weight gaining and consequences of this bad habit read in chapter "Having a meal", paragraph "Rich assortment with calorie malnutrition".

Overeating with healthy foods sounds like an absurd but it's an actual situation. The danger comes from the increased decay because healthy foods in the vast majority are of plant origin as the fibers contained therein increase the time for digestion in the stomach and their further degradation in intestines. This causes compression of the blood vessels and abdominal organs. This gives rise to a possibility for volvulus.
