ILLNESS IN CHILDHOOD

The principle which many parents follow in raising their children is subjected to the "logic" that they (the children) should attend as a must a public nursery and kindergarten to become "socialized" otherwise they would not learn to communicate with other people. This is not true! The most sociable people I know never attended any nursery or kindergarten. Just the opposite - the biggest curmudgeons that I know attended nursery and kindergarten.

In this topic I want to address another issue directly related to the physical health of children attending such public facilities and the delusion that exists among the ignorant parents who believe that leaving their children to "catch" the diseases of other kids in the nursery or the kindergarten is a very useful thing for them because this way children "strengthen their immune system". Bullshit.

Every disease leaves behind itself permanent damage on tissues and organs. The accumulation of damages over the years, during human life, results in weakening of the immune system and deteriorates irreversibly the mechanism of cellular respiration of tissues and organs. This means that chronic illness in both childhood and adulthood leads to hypoxemia (permanently reduced level of oxygen supply to cells) which again leads to severe pathologies in the long run. Keep your children from diseases the opposite is nonsense.

Immunity is not raised by illness and by healthy living!
