Varicose veins

Varicose veins. Varicose veins are obtained by stagnation of blood within them due to insufficient movement. Why is this so? Unlike arteries veins are blood vessels which in a certain distance has vascular valves that help blood circulation and function of the heart by preventing gravity and other inertial forces to return part of the blood back to the limbs and organs.

When we do not move enough blood stagnates and drains in the area of these venous valves by expanding them. Their systematic draining (swelling) leads to the formation of varicose veins. Most commonly from this disease is suffering the lower part of the leg - the tibia.

One simple but very effective exercise for the avoidance and prevention of varicose veins is stirrings feet back and forth like fins - Figure 3. Thus calf muscles massage the veins and push the accumulated blood in the direction of its normal circulation. If you work mostly seated it is recommended to do this exercise at least 10 times a day for 1-2 minutes.

Another useful effect is when being at rest to place your feet on a pillow when you're in a horizontal position to reduce blood flow in the calves. Walking with feet curved to the outside and on heels subsequently around the living room for about 50 steps every morning improves the general condition of the capillaries of the feet. Useful for the varicose veins are the fruits rich in flavonoids - especially the citrus ones.

Women who drink contraceptive pills (hormonal preparations) develop varicose veins in the legs. Estrogen is the main ingredient in most of these preparations. The intake of estrogen beyond normal physiological endogenous secretion is extremely harmful. It increases susceptibility to developing cancer in women three times. Upon reception of preparations containing estrogen women feel pain and discomfort in the breasts as changes therein are irreversible.

The intake of hormones and hormonal preparations to prevent conception or for rejuvenation which is being practiced by some people is a self-deception in terms of the final effect of such ignorant experiments with the body. Each intake of a hormone outside the normal secretion of the body leads to a short-term positive effects that very soon thereafter became a factor for extremely rapid and premature aging.
