The apples are washed, cut into two halves and cleared of the seeds. Each half is cut into thin slices sprinkled with lemon juice and heated in a microwave oven for 2 minutes at maximum power. Once the apples cool the liquid drains well. Thawed puff pastry is rolled slightly and cut into 6 equal rectangular strips. In the middle of each rectangular a strip of jam is spread along its length, and the apple pieces are placed on the side of each strip. All is sprinkled with cinnamon, then each strip is folded in half lengthwise and rolled up. Thus obtained roses are placed in suitable baking molds and baked in a preheated to 200°C oven for 40 minutes. After baking leave to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
