1. Pumpkin - about 1 kg. 2. Potatoes (medium size) - 3 pcs 3. Dry onion - 1 head 4. Carrots - 2 pcs 5. Celery head - 200 grams 6. Sunflower oil - 4-5 tablespoons 7. Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon 8. Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon 9. Fresh pasteurized milk - about 1/2 tea cup 10. Salt to taste |
METHOD OF PREPARATION

The onions, celery and carrots are cut in large pieces and stewed in the oil for 5 minutes. Add the peeled and diced potatoes as well as the pumpkin. Pour about 1 ltr of water, enough to cover the vegetables. Boil until they are soft, then mash. Dilute the soup with the fresh milk to the desired density, sprinkle salt to taste and season with the spices. Allow to boil for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat. Before presenting sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley. |
