Recipe for Semolina halva with pictures

SEMOLINA HALVA

PRODUCTS

1. Mineral water – 4 tea cups
2. Sugar - 2 tea cups
3. Semolina - 2 tea cups
4. Cow butter - 30 grams
5. Cinnamon or jam

METHOD OF PREPARATION

Water and sugar are boiled for 10 minutes, add the butter and the syrup is removed from the heat. The semolina is poured into a thin trickle in vigorous stirring to avoid formation of lumps. Once it has thickened it is spread in a tray, flattened and allowed to cool. Finally sprinkle with cinnamon or garnish with homemade jam.
