Recipe for Pumpkin pastry with pictures

PUMPKIN PASTRY


PRODUCTS

1. Phyllo pastry leaves (tissue-thin sheets of dough) - 1 package of 500 grams
2. Pumpkin - 1 kg
3. Walnuts - 1 tea cup
4. Sugar - 1 tea cup
5. Cow butter - 1 packet of 125 grams
6. Sunflower oil - 3-4 tablespoons
7. Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
8. Powdered sugar for sprinkling

METHOD OF PREPARATION

Pumpkin is peeled, grated and stewed until it softens in the oil mixed with 2 tablespoons of the melted butter. Then add the sugar and the chopped in large piece walnuts pre-baked in a dry pan and cinnamon. Each of the phyllo pastry leaves is spread with the melted butter, folded in two, a portion of the pumpkin is placed, rolled and arranged in a greased baking tray. Pour on top with the remaining butter and bake in a preheated to 200°C oven for about 30 minutes until rolls turn red. After baking the tray is removed from the oven, cover it with a cloth and allow to cool. Before serving, sprinkle with the powdered sugar.
