1. White flour - about 800 grams 2. Lard - 500 grams 3. Soda water – 250 ml 4. A pinch of salt 5. Turkish delight - 200 grams or 6. Walnuts - 1 tea cup 7. Powdered sugar - about 300 grams 8. Vanilla - 1 packet |
METHOD OF PREPARATION

From the flour, lard, soda and salt, mix a soft dough. Make balls out of it with a diameter of about 3 cm. in the center of which is placed a little piece of turkish delight or walnut. Arrange in covered with baking paper tray and bake in preheated oven to 220OC for 10-15 min. while turn pink slightly. After they are removed from the oven while they are warm, roll them into the powdered sugar flavoured with vanilla. |
